With October almost here, Rockstar Games has finally given us a glimpse of gameplay footage for the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2. Check out this in-game footage on a PS4 Pro.

America, 1899.
The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.
After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.
I'll admit, I'm not a fan of the voiceover, but I guess they didn't have a better way to convey all the new modes and gameplay that's coming with the sequel. With the first game having players scour the west as John Marston by himself, this sequel looks to be giving players an opportunity to control an entire gang, plus there're a handful of new interactions as well—including a more specialized way of picking your horse.
It's been almost a decade since the release of the first game, and a lot of people are excited to see what's in store for the sequel. Too bad they didn't decide to release in the same time as Westworld to keep the cowboy hype at an all-time high.
Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to Xbox One and PS4 on Oct. 26.
