Warcraft Sequel May Be Coming, Teased By Movie’s Official Weibo

It doesn't matter that Warcraft—by gamers' and viewers' standards—was critically a flop. It seems that director Duncan Jones and company will be coming back for more of the game's lore and tale in a sequel, which was adapted from Blizzard's World of Warcraft.

At least this seems to be the case according to Warcraft's official Weibo account. Spotted first by /Film, it seems that the sequel may be in response to the great reception of the film in China.

The official social media account of the Warcraft movie teased that the adventure has just started. And that basically means a sequel, by Hollywood standards. As per the translated message:

It's interesting to see whether the sequel will make the same amount overseas. As far as its overseas pull goes, it raked in $156 million in the first five days alone, which is a grand slamcompared to the $46.5 million that it got from the U.S. theaters to date.

Thoughts on the possible sequel? What would you want to see if a Warcraft sequel does push through?
