You probably by now that there's a new Egyptian-themed Magic: The Gathering set that will be released this month, and it's called Amonkhet. Of course, fans who are excited to try out the new cards would want to join the prerelease events on April 22-23. Just in case you're new to this kind of event or if you just want to know what to expect to get from it, here's a video that Wizards of the Coast released.
The set-specific goodie for this one is a list of goals you can work on called "Trials of the Gods", which encourages players to participate in a variety of Magic: The Gathering events.
Prerelease events could also help players get more experience as a warm-up for larger events like Grand Prix Richmond (Limited format).
