Kristen Wiig is known best for her comedy antics, but she looks to star opposite Gal Gadot in the Wonder Woman sequel as Cheetah. Vulture's Kyle Buchanan may have given us a hint at Cheetah's arc in the movie, and it looks like she'll start out as an ally to Diana.

For a while, I was actually convinced that Cheetah was a secondary villain in the movie with Circe actually being the main antagonist for Diana. The film's working title of Magic Hour could have been a reference to Circe, and the villain's penchant for turning people into animals lines up with Cheetah being one of her lackeys.
Will we get to see Circe eventually? There's no telling as of now. In any case, I'm still interested to see a character start off as Diana's friend then turning into her enemy in the movie. God knows we need some more intriguing villains when it comes to more modern comic book movies.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to come out Nov. 1, 2019.
