Urban Exploration Forum Members Discover Star Wars: Episode VIII Set, Sees Stunning Millennium Falcon

While details and filming for Rian Johnson's Star Wars: Episode VIII had been kept secret for the most part, leaks and rumors about the film cannot be avoided. Well, it's because of an Episode VIII rumor that members of a British urban exploration forum were able to uncover where the set containing the Millennium Falcon was located.

The members of Oblivion State (h/t io9) heard speculations that Episode VIII was filming in their area, so they tested out their luck to find out whether the rumors were true. As it turns out, they were, and the group was able to capture several photos of the Millennium Falcon in the process, and they are stunning.

The group shared some of the photos via Twitter:

Meanwhile, the rest of their incredible photos can also be seen on their forum thread here.

As exciting as these images are to see, what concerns me is that there seems to be no security on the set. I doubt it that the group would have been allowed to take super close shots of the Falcon on the set without passes. Maybe a member of the group had exclusive passes to the site, or maybe the security on set was simply lax. I have no idea, but hopefully there won't be any major spoilers from the movie coming out in the next months before the release of Episode VIII.

Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
