Try The Blade Runner 2049 Experience For Free During The Upcoming Comic-Con Weekend

There may not have been a lot of promotion for Blade Runner 2049 these past few weeks, however with the film drawing closer to its release date it seems like Alcon Entertainment is planning to bring the Blade Runner 2049 Experience with it to this year's San Diego Comic Con.

Not only is the Blade Runner sequel getting a panel at the massive pop-culture and geek convention, it's also getting its own exhibition at the Gaslamp Quarter right across the San Diego Convention Center. According to a report by Business Wire, Alcon Entertainment and Johnnie Waker are giving Blade Runner fans the opportunity to explore the world of the highly anticipated neo-noir science fiction film right before it releases in October through the Blade Runner 2049 experience.

Accessible to the public during the Comic-Con weekend this July, fans can freely check out the exhibit which starts with a gallery of art taken from the film itself and an Oculus VR Blade Runner 2049 experience. Right after that, guests get to stroll by a Los Angeles street scene covered in futuristic neon lights that allows them to prepare for impromptu tests that determine whether they're actually human, or replicants.

It's an exciting experience that doesn't need any Comic-bade for entry, allowing guests to register and enter at an appointment time or wait in line for. It certainly seems like Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. are slowly building up the momentum for Blade Runner 2049 with so many treats for Blade Runner fans at the Gaslamp Quarter.

Blade Runner 2049 hits cinemas on October 6, 2017.
