Tormund Gives Brienne Sexy Eyes Even Off Set Of Game Of Thrones

Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju is working hard at getting Gwendoline Christie's Brienne to notice Tormund, even in between takes.

Speaking with Seth Meyers on his show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Christie opened up about her different experiences on the set of HBO's massively popular fantasy epic, and eventually the discussion steered towards Tormund's little crush on her character, Brienne.

The wildling's had his eyes on the warrior of the House Tarth ever since he met her during the sixth season of Game of Thrones and his attraction towards the tall knight's been a running gag throughout the series. Brienne might not share the same sentiments, however Tormund isn't one to give up. Nor is Hivju. During the interview, Christie reveals that Hivju stays in character even off set, staring at her while chewing his sandwich.

"He likes to continue being in character even off set. He will start chewing a sandwich wildly at me… really kind of making love to that sandwich as he eyeballs me. […]In the script, it simply said, ‘Tormund gives Brienne a look. I was not expecting the power, the magnitude of sort of intense sexual intention to pour out of a man's eyes and cover me."

While it would probably be an uncomfortable to have a man "making love to a sandwich" while looking over his object of desire in real life, it seems like Hivju's just doing the whole thing in jest, making fun of Tormund and Brienne.

Though Game of Thrones has more important matters to take care of, we certainly hope that Tormund gets those massive babies he's hoping for.

Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres sometime 2018 or 2019.
