Tom Holland is in talks to join the live-action movie adaptation of Chaos Walking, EW reports. The young star is best known for playing Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. Now he might be part of another franchise.
He'll be joining another big star, Daisy Ridley, on the project. Ridley is famed for her role as Rey, the lead character of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She was also announced to be part of the Chaos Walking movie.
Holland will be starring as Todd, the main character of the Chaos Walking series. The YA novel series is a sci-fi thriller. It takes place in a dystopian future where everyone constantly hears each other's thoughts. However, Todd comes across a girl (who will be played by Ridley) who brings complete silence.
Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) is set to direct the movie. Lionsgate Studio will be producing. The studio is hoping to be able to make series of movies based off the franchise.
Tom Holland's next movie is Spider-Man: Homecoming, which debuts July 7, 2017.
