Tom Holland Wants Uncharted Movie’s Sully To Be Played By Jake Gyllenhall or Chris Pratt

Last week, Sony announced that it had cast Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming star, Tom Holland, as Nathan Drake in their film adaptation of the popular action-adventure third-person shooter video game, franchise Uncharted.

While some say that Tom Holland is a bit too young for the part, the movie has been said to take elements from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End where a young Drake is being taken in by Victor "Sully" Sullivan.

Now, with his place in the film secured, Holland has been dropping a few names to play the role of Drake's mentor-slash-partner-in-crime, Sully. Speaking in a Facebook Live Q&A session with Yahoo! Movies, Holland revealed that he wanted either critically acclaimed actor Jake Gyllenhaal or Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Patt to play the part.

"I think Jake Gyllenhaal could be really cool. But I actually went to the Jurassic World 2 film set the other day to visit my friend who's directing it and Chris Pratt is on that film, who I've become very good friends with over the last few months. I think he would be a great Sully, I think it could be cool. Because if it was an older movie, I would say that Chris should play Nathan, but I think he would be a cool Sully, and I love working with Chris, so if I could work with Chris some more that would be great."

It'd certainly be interesting to see Gyllenhaal playing Sully – the Nightcrawler star is an extremely talented actor and the role would show us a different side to him. Pratt would also make an interesting mentor for Nathan Drake considering that the loveable Hollywood star already plays a raptor trainer in Jurassic World and a thug-turned-hero in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

There's no release date for Jurassic World just yet but we'll keep everyone updated as soon as we get word.
