Tom Holland Starts Prepping His Young Nathan Drake Role For Uncharted Movie

It looks like Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland is starting to get ready for his upcoming role in the Uncharted movie by Sony.

Stranger Things and Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy is currently attached to direct the video game movie adaptation while Holland's set to play a young Nathan Drake. Though gamers are a bit wary about the idea of a young Nathan Drake, Holland seems to have definitely put his mind into playing the role.

The Marvel star just recently took to Instagram to post a video story showing an Uncharted game screen, writing down the caption, "For research purposes."

Take a look at Holland's video through a clip posted by one of the British actor's fans on Twitter:

Seems like Tom Holland is officially locked in as Nathan Drake, as of earlier this year it sounded like there was some question about it.

Though fans should know that the Spider-Man star's post is in no way an official confirmation that Sony's begun production on the Uncharted movie adaptation, it's a great sign that Holland's serious about his role and that he's doing his best to keep his rendition of a young Nathan Drake close to the source material.

With a charming star attached to the project and a great director to boot, the Uncharted movie could evolve into a franchise like Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider.

The Uncharted movie doesn't have a release date just yet but we'll let everyone know as soon as we get word.
