X-Men Star Hugh Jackman Sends Video Message to Support Frontliners

X-Men legend Hugh Jackman has a special message for essential workers and first responders around the globe.

Taking to Twitter, Hugh Jackman, the X-Men's Guinness World Record holder for "longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero," has decided to share a video thanking all of the frontliners working around the clock to help combat COVID-19 as it continues to plague the planet and shut down industries.

"Shoutout to all the essential workers who are working tirelessly, around the clock, all around the world," he said in the video. "You guys are on the frontlines and your selflessness is making it possible for people like me to be at home and to be safe, so thank you, thank you, thank you. And for anyone who's listening to this, don't forget... Wear a mask."

This isn't the first time that Jackman has shared messages of support to those working in the frontlines in the battle against the novel coronavirus. Back in April, the Greatest Showman star shared a Blue Angels and Thunderbirds post as a tribute to health care workers working tirelessly in the middle of the pandemic.

Other celebrities have also been using their platforms to help combat COVID, reminding their fans and followers to wear masks and practice social distancing to help prevent the spread of the disease. This week Mark Ruffalo posted a picture of himself wearing a mask on Twitter, explaining why it is essential to wear a mask during the pandemic.
