Warner Brothers Wants Keanu Reeves to Return for Constantine 2

Keanu Reeves is pretty in demand. Not only has the Hollywood A-lister recently completed work on the John Wick franchise, but he's also done voice work for Pixar's Toy Story 4, starred in the Netflix Rom-com Always Be My Maybe, and is now set to return in the fourth Matrix movie.

Word on the street says that Marvel and DC are busy fighting over Reeves, and a new report by We Got This Covered claims that Warner Brothers is very interested in bringing Reeves back for a Constantine sequel.

According to the site, sources have said that Warner Brothers is still hopeful that Reeves is going to reprise his titular role in another Constantine movie. Though we're not quite sure whether Reeves might take the bait and return to the franchise, the actor has admitted in the past that he would like to reprise his role as the working-class warlock, con man, and occult detective. Based on that information alone, it seems like the chances of Reeves joining DC to reprise his Constantine role is much higher than the chances of the actor joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Earlier this year, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that the studio has already discussed multiple movies with the Matrix actor, admitting that "we talk to him for almost every film we make." Unfortunately, it seems like Reeves has very little interest in joining the comic book movie franchise.

Perhaps Warner Brothers will have better luck. Let's wait and see what happens.
