Triple Force Friday Live Stream Reveals Two New Important Characters For Star Wars: Episode IX

Star Wars fans might have more or less a week to go before this year's Triple Force Friday, but it already looks like Disney's new Star Wars merchandise has already revealed a major leak for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars just recently held a live-stream event showcasing some of the brand new merch that fans are going to get at this year's Triple Force Friday, and the event revealed two new aliens set to appear in Episode IX. The Millennium Falcon LEGO Set for The Rise of Skywalker included a mini-figure of a character by the name of Boolio, a green alien with yellow horns. This alien is someone we may expect to see riding along with Lando (Billy Dee Williams) and C-3PO in their adventures in the third and final entry in Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy.

Meanwhile, Hasbro's C-3PO Black Series action figure also revealed another alien creature, this time named Babu Frik, a rather small alien with a visor and scarf – clothes that may suggest that he may make an appearance on the desert planet Pasaana.

These aliens may have significant roles in The Rise of Skywalker because the Episode IX cast froze when they saw the figures for Boolio and Babu Frik as if they were afraid that they'd actually give away spoilers for the upcoming Star Wars movie.

Anthony Daniels didn't say much about Babu Frik, only that he's a droid builder. John Boyega put back Boolio's figure right into the Millennium Falcon, not saying a word.

We can only wonder what parts these aliens might play.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
