Tommy Wiseau From The Room Expressing Interest In Appearing In Star Wars: Episode IX

Everyone wants to be in a Star Wars movie at least once in their life. Even Tommy Wiseau.

The writer, director, producer, and star of the cult classic hit The Room just recently went on Twitter to express interest in appearing in the next Star Wars installment, J.J. Abram's Episode IX. Sharing a post by Star Wars' official Twitter handle which featured a GIF of Star Wars legend Mark Hamill with one of The Room's most iconic lines, "Oh, hi, Mark," Wiseau asked if he could be put in the next Star Wars movie.

It might seem like an incredibly outrageous idea to have Wiseau popping in Episode IX but there's been a lot of hype surrounding The Room over the past few weeks because of James Franco's biographical comedy-drama The Disaster Artist.

Starring James and Dave Franco as Wiseau and Greg Sestero, The Disaster Artist chronicles the making of The Room, a film which has been widely considered one of the worst movies to have ever been made in history. Though the film doesn't release until tomorrow, The Disaster Artist's already gotten a lot of hype with the public's renewed interest in The Room and in Wiseau himself.

Though Wiseau might not really fit in the Star Wars franchise, a little cameo might be fine.

Lucasfilm's next Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, hits cinemas December 15, 2017.
