Tom Holland And Avengers: Endgame Directors Celebrate Golden Tomato Award With Tomatoes

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences aren't the only ones busy giving out recognition to the most prominent films of 2019. All sorts of guilds, organizations, and websites have been handing out awards to the very best movies of 2019, and that includes Rotten Tomatoes.

The review aggregation website just recently held its "Golden Tomatoes" awards, giving out prizes to the best reviewed films of the year. Avengers: Endgame was one of the films to win a prize from Rotten Tomatoes, taking in the title "Best Wide Release Movie 2019."

Celebrating the win, Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo decided to film a video with one of their movie's stars, Tom Holland. The video which was recently posted on Rotten Tomatoes' Twitter account shows the three chomping down fresh tomatoes to celebrate their win.

"Tasty," said Russo.

"It's a good tomato," Hollland agreed.

The reason why Holland is together with the Endgame directors is because the trio have again teamed up to film the movie Cherry, an adaptation of a book which follows the story of "an Army medic suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder" who eventually "becomes a serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him in debt."

It's great seeing Endgame get some recognition from Rotten Tomatoes. The film was considered one of the best films of 2019, hauling in so much money that it beat Avatar to become the highest grossing film of all time.

Avengers: Endgame is currently available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
