The Room’s Tommy Wiseau Responds To New Joker Trailer

The Room actor Tommy Wiseau has been vocal about his interest to play the DC Extended Universe's new Joker, and while he never really got the part, he has the perfect response to Warner Brother's new trailer for Todd Phillips' Joker movie.

Warner Brothers released the last trailer for Joaquin Phoenix's debut as the Clown Prince of Crime in the gritty character study entry Joker and DC fans have been going wild. While the first teaser for the film seemed more compelling, this new preview gives fans a glimpse at the events that push Phoenix's character, Arthur Fleck, to become the Joker. Heath Ledger might have given the best performance as the Clown Prince of Crime in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight, but it looks like Phoenix is going to give Ledger's Joker a run for his money.

Taking to Twitter to respond to the epic new trailer for Joker, Wiseau decided to sahre a picture of himself as Batman's most iconic villain.

DC fans might not remember, but Wiseau once put up a video campaigning to become DC's next Joker. While the actor's version of Mister J didn't quite land, it was pretty interesting to see the star of The Room trying to become the Clown Prince of Crime. Maybe he'd have a shot at the role in another film.

Do you think The Room's Tommy Wiseau would have made a good Joker? Why or why not? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.

The Joker is set for release on October 4, 2019.
