The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest Challenges The Millennium Falcon as Star Wars’ Coolest Ship

The Millennium Falcon might be one of the most iconic ships to come out of the Star Wars franchise, but it looks like Star Wars: The Mandalorian is trying its best to shake the status quo with the Razor crest.

Speaking in an interview with IGN to help promote the upcoming live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers talk about Razor Crest, a vessel the team call Star Wars coolest ship.

"The Razor Crest, is um, and you know, I was just shooting yesterday, and I won't say obviously what we were doing but, um never mind" Pascal fumbles around for words when asked for reasons why the Razor Crest is one of the franchise's coolest new ships.

"I feel like each ship kind of takes its own personality," Carano says during the interview, "and so for this show, the Razor Crest and for The Mandalorian, having being his ship, I think it takes on his (Pascal's character) own personality."

Weathers can't help but agree with his castmate, telling Carano that she might have been reading his mind. a

"I feel it's mysterious, it's badass, it's maybe not as big," the actress continues, "but it gets the job done and I think it'll take its own character in The Mandalorian."

Though we've yet to see just how cool the Razor Crest really is Weathers promises fans there's going to be an episode in The Mandalorian that features the ship as the "baddest thing" in the franchise. We can't really imagine any other ship challenging the Millennium Falcon in terms of how cool it is, but we're willing to give the Razor Crest a try. Let's wait and see.
