Two Game of Thrones alums are making their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming Phase 4 movie, The Eternals, and it looks like Richard Madden couldn’t be more excited.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly at last week’s D23 Expo, Game of Thrones Robb Stark actor decided to open up about joining the MCU, saying that he’s more than excited to reunite with  Jon Snow himself, Kit Harrington. It’s been a long, long while since the actors shared a scene together. Madden was killed early on in the series, dying during the gory Game of Thrones season 3 episode, “The Red Wedding.”

“It’s brilliant,” Madden said of his upcoming reunion with Harrington, “It’s been about 10 years since we’ve worked together, I think. So we’ve moved on a bit onto different things, so I’m really excited to get back on set.”

There aren’t that many details about The Eternals just yet, however, we do know that both Game of Thrones stars are going to take on major roles in the upcoming Phase 4 entry. Harrington is set to play Dane Whitman, a character Marvel fans know as the Black Knight, a hero with the burden of carrying a cursed mystical sword. Meanwhile, Madden is set to play an important member of the group in Ikaris.

We’re excited to see these two Game of Thrones stars make it to the big screen and we’re definitely hoping that we see more of them in the MCU.

The Eternals is set for release on November 6, 2020.
