Marvel might focus less on the romance aspect when it develops its comic book movies, but it looks like Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson can't help but want a Thor, Valkyrie, and Captain Marvel love triangle to come out in a rom-com movie together with Chris Hemsworth and Brie Larson.
Speaking in an interview for Men in Black: International with CBR, a science fiction film where she also stars alongside Hemsworth as a man in black, she pitched a rom com project for Marvel Studios where Thor, Valkyrie, and Captain Marvel all come together for a love triangle.
In her interview, Thompson was asked what she'd like to see in a buddy spinoff movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"A rom com, like we both try to fix each other's love lives. Everyone know who I'm dating!" Hemsworth who was also present during the interview, and when the actor looked puzzled, Thompson explained, "I'm being shipped with Captain Marvel."
"I thought Thor was being shipped with Captain Marvel?" Hemsworth told her.
"That's why I'm saying let's make a love triangle!" she gushed, "Oh my gosh, let's make an MCU thriller, like a -- you know those old 90s... who's gonna be with who? It could be light! It could be just a rom com about the three of us."
A rom com between Valkyrie, Thor, and Captain Marvel sounds like a hoot, though we can't really imagine Marvel working on rom coms. Maybe the three will find their way in a Marvel Cosmic Universe movie. Let's wait and see.
