Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown Addresses The Eternals Casting Rumors

Earlier this week, word came out that Millie Bobby Brown was being secretly cast in Marvel's upcoming prequel movie, The Eternals. There were a lot of rumors going around about The Eternals cast list and Brown's name has constantly been passed around along with other stars like Ninjago's Kumail Nanjiani, Mr. And Mrs. Smith's Angelina Jolie, and Rocketman's Richard Madden.

Now, the Stranger Things star speaks up about the rumors, saying that she is not at all playing any part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Taking to Instagram for an Instagram Live session with her fans (via MCU Cosmic), Brown decided to address the rumors going around saying that she would star in The Eternals.

"Everybody thinks I'm going to be in a Marvel movie," the young actress said in the stream. "Not that I know of. My family and I have no idea. So I just want to let everyone know…that I'm not as of right now."

Of course, this could be Brown trying her best to play coy. But then again, the actress could really be telling the truth all along. Maybe she really isn't going to be part of The Eternals.

We'll just have to wait and see. Marvel is making its way back to the annual San Diego Comic-Con International this year, and it looks like the studio is planning to make a big splash. Fans are expecting the studio to announce its plans for the future of the MCU. Everyone's waiting to know what Marvel has planned for Phase 4 now that Avengers: Endgame is over.

Marvel's latest release, Spider-Man: Far From Home, is currently screening in cinemas.
