Stranger Things’ Jim Hopper Gets Slammed By Westworld Actress For “Unacceptable” Behavior

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Stranger Things season 3.

David Harbour's Stranger Things character Jim Hopper has always been a fan-favorite character, and this season fans couldn't help but connect and fall in love with the Hawkins Chief of Police.

However, while most would gush over Hopper's possessive parenting antics in the third season of the Duffer Brother's critically-acclaimed science fiction horror series, Evan Rachel Wood isn't too happy with the character in the newest batch of episodes.

"You should never date a guy like the cop from #strangerthings Extreme jealousy and violent rages are not flattering or sexy like TV would have you believe. That is all," the Westworld star advised her followers on Twitter.

While some fans would defend the series by saying that there's nothing to stress about considering the fact that Hopper is just a television character and that the series is set in the 80s, Woods explains that Hopper's behaviour isn't something that should be tolerated.

"Yes I am aware it's ‘just a show' and it's set ‘in the 80s' even though this stuff was unacceptable then too, but that's exactly my point. It's just a show and this is a gentle reminder not to fall for this crap in real life. Red flags galore," the actress added.

Of course, there's nothing agreeable about a man with anger issues, however, Woods has to remember that Hopper is seen trying his best to keep his cool, asking Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) help when Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) spends too much time dating his adoptive daughter, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
