Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker has a Scene That Left the Crew 'Shaken'

There's a lot riding on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Not only are the movies supposed to serve as the final installment in Lucasfilm's Star Wars sequel trilogy, but it's also supposed to mark the end of the Skywalker Saga.

That's why fans should expect to be left "shaken" after seeing The Rise of Skywalker on the big screen.

Speaking in an interview with Adoro Cinema to help promote the new Star Wars movie, Daisy Ridley reveals that one scene actually left the Episode IX crew moved.

"There was a scene that touched me a lot," the Star Wars actress told the entertainment news outlet, "It was our last day shooting in Jordan and the natural light was fading. And it was so exciting. It was just a short scene, we filmed very fast, but the crew was shaken in a way that I had not seen before. And I thought, 'My God, if this is people's immediate reaction when the scene isn't even ready, imagine what it will be like to see it in the movies, with the John Williams soundtrack and all that.'"

We can only wonder what scene this might be. Could this be the loss of Leia (the late Carrie Fisher)? Or the loss of C-3PO? There have also been rumors going around that The Rise of Skywalker would also mark the end of the Millennium Falcon.

Fans should expect a lot of major events in Episode IX. The film marks the end of an era for the galaxy far, far away and it would only be right for the movie to go out with a bang.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
