Star Wars: The Mandalorian Reportedly Has Three Spinoffs in Development

Star Wars fans may have yet to hear additional updates for Star Wars: The Mandalorian, however, there are rumors circulating online saying that Lucasfilm is working on three different spin-offs based on Jon Favreau's hit Star Wars series.

Kessel Run Transmissions Corey Van Dyke recently broke the news on Twitter. According to the Star Wars leaker, there are currently three different The Mandalorian spinoff series in various stages of development over at Lucasfilm.

"The Clone Wars is getting a spin off series in The Bad Batch and 3 "The Mandalorian" spin off shows are in various stages of development from things we've heard. I won't run that as a scoop by any means but it's something interesting to think about," Dyke revealed on Twitter.

Three spinoff series of Star Wars: The Mandalorian sounds too good to be true, and as with any rumor, we advise readers to take the report with a grain of salt. However, it is also good to note that Kessel Run Transmissions was one of the first to report that Lucasfilm was developing a Bad Batch animated series for Disney+ in 2021, and that scoop did prove to be true.

We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed that this report about The Mandalorian spinoff series ends up being true as well.

There's a lot of excitement building up over the second season of The Mandalorian. Not only will the next batch of episodes bring back Baby Yoda and Mando (Pedro Pascal), but there have been reports that the series will include appearances by Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is available for streaming on Disney+.
