Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Trailer Features Ahsoka’s Jedi Transition

This year's Star Wars Celebration Chicago brought a whole lot of reveals, one of which included the first trailer for the seventh season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It didn't take that much time for the video to make its way online and in it, we get to see how Ahsoka (voiced by Ashely Eckstein) going against Darth Maul (voiced by Sam Witwer).

This is the second trailer for the next season of The Clone Wars that's been released (the first trailer was showcased during Comic-Con) and in it, we get to see Ahsoka switching to blue lightsabers. During the first six seasons of the series, the padawan used green sabers in her fights. In Star Wars Rebels she appears using clear lightsabers in her missions for the Rebellion (though in the series she no longer aligns herself with the Jedi or the Sith). It's clear that the final season of The Clone Wars is going to feature Ahsoka's transition into the grey area of alignment with the Force.

The trailer wasn't the only thing screened during The Clone Wars panel – three scenes from the last season of the series were shared with fans last Sunday, one of which includes Ahsoka riding down to the Coruscant underworld on a dangerous but rundown spider bike. One other clip shows Ahsoka reuniting together with Captain Rex. Another one shows Clone Force 99 in action.

Star Wars fans definitely had a field day at Star Wars Celebration 2019.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 is set to premiere on Disney+ which launches on November 12.
