Star Wars’ Pedro Pascal Promises The Mandalorian Season 2 Will Be 'Injected With Steroids'

There's been a lot of excitement building up over the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. While Lucasfilm has been careful not to reveal any of the major plot points in the next batch of episodes in Jon Favreau's hit Star Wars series, a number of casting reports promise the appearance of fan-favorite characters.

Not only is Ahsoka Tano (who's reportedly being played by Marvel Netflix star Rosario Dawson)set to make an appearance in The Mandalorian but so is Bo Katan Kryze (reportedly being played by voice actress Katee Sackhoff) and Boba Fett (Lucasfilm reportedly managed to get Temeura Morrison to reprise his role).

Speaking in an interview with GQ to talk about his upcoming projects, The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal teases the second season of the series, promising a whole lot of excitement for Star Wars fans.

"For series two, fans' love of Star Wars will be injected with steroids," the actor told the entertainment news outlet.

While there are concerns that The Mandalorian's next batch of episodes might see delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pascal says that fans won't have to worry.

"We wrapped early March, so just before the shit started hitting the fan," Mando revealed.

While there might not be a Star Wars movie scheduled this year, the fanbase still has a lot to look forward to with The Mandalorian returning to Disney+. The series left a lot of unanswered questions when it completed its first season, and we're hoping that we'll get to learn more about Baby Yoda and what the Empire really wants to do with The Child.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 2 is set to premiere later this year.
