Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order seems to be keeping a whole lot of secrets. Not only is the film keeping the mystery of the hidden history of the fallen Jedi as gamers try to uncover ruins traveling from planet to planet in the upcoming action-adventure Star Wars game, but the developers have been hiding another little riddle for fans to find the Stormtroopers have names in Fallen Order.
PC Gamer just recently interviewed Fallen Order developers Aaron Contreras and Jeff Magers about their highly anticipated Star Wars videogame, and it looks like the two revealed what they think is top secret information, saying that the game's Stormtroopers have names. We don't understand whether this should be a big deal, but it seems like it might be, seeing how the developers want the news outlet to keep it a secret.
There's a variety of troopers scattered within the game. There are regular stormtroopers scout troopers, bazooka troopers, minigun troopers and all sorts of troopers in the game. Noting the troopers different dialogue lines, PC Gamer couldn't help but bring up how stormtroopers reacted differently to Cal Kestis' presence in the game.
"Under the helmet they have personalities, and so we've kind of given them nicknames and call signs. So you have, it looks like a horde of faceless grunts. And they are, right, 'cause they're stormtroopers, but they each have a specific personality and they'll interact with each other in ways that are specific to their personality," they shared. "And then when one's left alone, it could be the guy who's terrified or it could get a guy who's super gung-ho and he's like, 'now it's my time to shine and take out a Jedi!'"
That's pretty meticulous work, something that gamers might appreciate when playing Fallen Order. Guess this means we'll get different reactions playing the upcoming Star Wars game.
