Star Wars: Episode IX Getting TWO Epic New Trailers This Month

It looks like all that waiting might actually pay off, because word on the street says that Star Wars fans aren't going to get one, but two trailers for Star Wars: Episode IX.

Lucasfilm has been deathly quiet about Star Wars: Episode IX the past few months, leaving fans high and dry as they patiently wait for new updates on the Star Wars sequel trilogy's third and final film. However, all of that is going to change very, very soon. Star Wars Celebration 2019 is heading to Chicago next week, and along with it are panels for highly anticipated Star Wars projects like Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and of course, Star Wars: Episode IX.

Fans have long since been expecting a trailer drop and title release for the film at this year's Celebration, however, a new report by Express says Disney and Lucasfilm have been preparing two different trailers for release. According to the site, the companies have been preparing one separate trailer for the 2019 Star Wars Celebration and another trailer to be featured right before the screenings of major Mickey Mouse House films like Marvel's Avengers: Endgame and the CGI-animated remake of The Lion King.

This is pretty big news for fans. We're not quite sure how different these two trailers might be, but we're hoping that they both feature a lot of footage for everyone to go through. Everyone's been dying to know more about what's to come in Episode IX. We deserve something good.

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres December 20, 2019.
