Star Trek Actor Karl Urban Excited For Quentin Tarantino’s Movie

Now that Quentin Tarantino's movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood's all out, the director is free to begin working on his R-rated Star Trek movie, a project that Star Trek actor Karl Urban is looking forward to.

While the star who's been playing the Star Trek franchise's Leonard "Bones" McCoy for the past few years isn't quite sure what Tarantino has planned for his new Star Trek Movie, Urban admits in an interview with Huffington Post that he's pretty excited for the project.

"This is a project that I have no information about, really..." the actor said. "I haven't read a script for it, but I understand the basic concept of it."

"I think Quentin Tarantino doing that film would be phenomenal..." Urban continued. "He is definitely one of the most exciting filmmakers that's currently working and if he has an interest in making a ‘Star Trek' film, I think the studio would be insane not to let him do that."

Of course, Star Trek fans shouldn't be all that surprised to see Urban gearing up for Tarantino's movie. The Star Trek actor was all up for the film even back in 2018, saying that fans shouldn't really be concerned about the R-rating of the film and about the potential of having too much obscenity in the movie.

Right now we know very little about what Tarantino wants for his Star Trek movie but we're hoping we learn more as the filmmaker begins moving into the pre-production of the film.
