Spider-Man: Far From Home Theory Suggests The Return Of (Spoilers)

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The trailers for Spider-Man: Far From Home might have depicted Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio as Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) unlikely ally against the elementals, however, fans soon learn that Quentin Beck was a villain all along. Mixing special effects tech with Tony Stark's drone technology, Beck tricks the population by creating hyper-realistic illusions.

However, Spider-Man ended up exposing him as a fraud, and the confrontation with the wall-crawler resulted in his death.

Of course, knowing that Beck is a master of illusion, Marvel fans wonder whether Mysterio really died in his encounter with Spider-Man.

Taking to Reddit, a Marvel fan shares an elaborate Far From Home theory suggesting that Mysterio may not have really died after all. According to Redditor isee_oreos_notzebras, it seems a bit fishy that footage of Peter Parker killing Mysterio would end up being released to the public.

The theory by this Marvel suggests that Marvel could reveal Mysterio as a robot, saying that a built-in feature inside him allowed him to film what happened during the confrontation with Spider-Man, alter the footage, and then have it sent to his henchmen to send to the public.

As a robot, Mysterio could be rebuilt to reappear in another Marvel movie.

Of course, the theory might seem a bit farfetched. Mysterio could have simply used footage from Tony Stark's drones to capture the confrontation and then have it sent to his henchmen. He could have used his holographic tech to fake his death as well, allowing Mysterio to live another day.

What do you think? Are we going to see Mysterio again?
