She-Hulk Casting Details Reportedly Confirms Bruce Banner in the Series

She-Hulk is going to begin filming soon and it looks like Tom Holland's Bruce Banner may very well appear in the upcoming Disney+ series.

ComicBook.com has new casting details for She-Hulk and according to the entertainment news outlet, Marvel Studios is currently on the lookout for an actress in her late 20s or early 30s to play Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin. In the casting description, Marvel notes how Walters obtains powers similar to the Hulk's after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from Banner.

"Also known as Jennifer Walters, She-Hulk is a lawyer, and cousin of Bruce Banner, whose emergency blood transfusion from Bruce empowers her with Hulk-like abilities," the current log-line for the project reads.

Marvel is reportedly open to different ethnicities at the current sage of the casting process, though they seem to prefer and actress who has worked in comedic roles before.

While we've yet to receive official confirmation from Marvel about the casting process, this description of Jennifer Walter shows that Marvel is planning to give She-Hulk the same origin that the character has in the comics.

The description also implies that fans are going to get to see Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming Disney+ series, though we've yet to know what kind of capacity the actor's going to appear in She-Hulk. We can't help but wonder whether Bruce Banner is going to have an active role in the series and whether we'll get to see him Hulk out.

Let's cross our fingers and wait and see.

She-Hulk has yet to receive a release date. But we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
