Robert Pattinson Reportedly Delays The Batman Because of Trouble Bulking Up

DC fans might be getting more and more excited for Matt Reeve's The Batman now that Todd Phillip's Joker movie has managed to reach the pinnacle of success, but there are rumors going around saying that there's actually a delay in the production of the film, and it's all because of Robert Pattinson.

According to a report by reviewer Grace Randolph, Twilight actor Robert Pattinson is delaying the development of The Batman because he's having a bit of a hard time to bulk up for the role. It's a bit surprising to hear that Pattinson is having a bit of difficulty bulking up to become DC's new Batman. Fans want to see the Lighthouse star in the cape and in the costume, but they need him to prepare for the role.

"I've also heard that Robert Pattinson is having a little bit of trouble bulking up," Rudolph revealed in one of the latest episodes that she's posted on YouTube, "I think it's probably impossible for him to fully bulk up because he just has a slight build, but I think it's hilarious they are like, 'Maybe if we gave him a few more weeks, he might bulk up.' If he hasn't bulked up by now, he's not going to bulk up. Just accept you have skinny Batman and deal with it. So, I think that's funny. It's not like a huge delay. It's not a big deal. It's not a big deal, really, but it's like just a couple of weeks."

As disappointing as the news is, we suggest fans to take this report with a grain of salt. Sure, it might be a bit difficult to imagine Pattinson physically bulking up to become the next Batman, however, we all know that Pattinson's going to have to go through some major superhero training for the part. The bulkier Pattinson is, the better.

The Batman is set to premiere on June 25, 2021.
