Robert Pattinson Imagined In Dark Knight Suit As Ben Affleck’s Batman Replacement

Back in February, Ben Affleck announced something that fans have long been speculating – his resignation as the DC Extended Universe's Batman in Matt Reeve's upcoming movie for the Dark Knight. Though Warner Brothers has yet to name a replacement for Affleck, DC fans have been busy throwing names around hoping to see actors like Jon Hamm as the new Dark Knight. This also includes Robert Pattinson, an actor mostly known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight film trilogy.

Now, as fans continue to wait for Warner Brothers to cast its new Dark Knight for Matt Reeve's upcoming The Batman, new fan art by jscomicart gives us a look at what Pattinson might look like if he were the Caped Crusader.

Not only do we get to see the Twilight star in a suit meant for him to look like Bruce Wayne, but we also get to see him in a pretty neat Batsuit which obviously makes a few nods to Michael Keaton's version of Batman.

"Word on the street is that Robert Pattinson is being eyed to play the Batman! Do you think this is a good choice?" the artist writes on his post.

Check it out down here:

Pattinson certainly has the brooding look that could go with Bruce Wayne, though we'd probably like to see a bit more bulk on the suit like the one built for the Batfleck. While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had a pretty skewed story, fans loved a lot of things about Affleck's Batman like his look, demeanor, and that incredible warehouse fight scene.

The Batman is set for release on June 25, 2021.
