Star Wars: Episode IX's been in the middle of production for quite some time now, and while Lucasfilm has been trying its best to keep spoilers from making its way to the public, leaked descriptions, videos, and images have been pouring out endlessly online.

This Star Wars rumor this week centers around the very first teaser for Episode IX. Express just recently picked up news on the teaser, the trailer and the title for the sequel to The Last Jedi, and according to the site, word has it that the very first teaser for Episode IX is going to drop during Disney's Super Bowl next year.

"The big rumor is that there will be a teaser attached to the Super Bowl and the main trailer will come our way at the Star Wars Celebration in April in Chicago," claims the site.

While this new report ought to be taken with a grain of salt, Disney has traditionally released its Star Wars teasers and trailers during the Super Bowl and during every Star Wars Celebration, so it isn't too farfetched to imagine the Mickey Mouse House doing the same for Episode IX.

What is interesting however is that the report also touches on the music that will be featured in the trailer.

"John Williams will compose a track mixed with music from the prequel and the original trilogies. It will be their way of letting fans subliminally know that prequel content is coming. This special track won't be in the movie but dedicated to the trailer only," the site writes. "It is also said that out of the shots for the trailer will be scenes that were all shot in IMAX."

Could Episode IX feature a few prequel characters? There have been rumors that Darth Sidious would make an appearance in the movie, however, there still hasn't been confirmation from Lucasfilm.

But that's not the only interesting tidbit in this new report. Word also has it that the release date for the official title of Episode IX is currently in negotiations for next year's Super Bowl – a date which lines up with the official end of principal photography of the movie. Episode IX is expected to complete production by February next year, while the Super Bowl is set to take place around the same month.

Of course, as with any rumor, Star Wars fans ought to take this new information with a grain of salt. Let's just wait for some confirmation from Lucasfilm itself.
