Niantic Says That They’re Still Thinking Of PvP and Trading For Pokemon Go

Niantic has been listening to Pokemon Go gamers' requests, adding new content to the augmented reality gaming app like Legendary Pokemon and Shiny Pokemon. While gamers seem to be a bit more satisfied now that Niantic's made a few improvements to the game, the company promises fans that they're still looking at adding important features to the Pokemon Go like Player-vs-Player mode and Trading.

Going on IGN to discuss some of Pokemon Go's newest features, Niantic's marketing lead, Archit Bhargava , went on to assure fans that the company still had plans to incorporate PvP and trading in Pokemon Go. The only thing was that they wouldn't be doing it straight away.

"Trading was mentioned in the initial launch trailer of the game, so that is definitely something that we want to get to at some point," Bhargava told the publication. "I think the priority has always been, you know, what is the feature that we can launch now that we feel will get the community excited and energized."

Though trading and PVP battles were still on the company's overall "to-do list," Bhargava pointed out that it might take a while before the features get added into the game since Niantic still has to properly investigate the feasibility of the features. Though it might be a bit disappointing that Niantic isn't considering adding PvP and trading right away, it's good to know that they haven't forgotten fans' long-time requests.
