Marvel might be trying its best to keep Captain Marvel’s secrets away from the public, but it looks like the Marvel Studios Encyclopedia gives fans new details about the different heroes and villains that are going to make their way to the big screen.

A few pages taken from the Marvel Studios Encyclopedia have managed to surface online, and these new pages give new information on Captain Marvel characters like Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers and Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos. While the pages don’t necessarily give away major spoilers to the film, the character breakdowns do provide some interesting information about Captain Marvel and Talos.

According to the description of Captain Marvel which can be found on the Marvel Studios Encyclopedia page posted on Reddit, Carol Danvers is a Kree soldier who finds herself lost on the planet Earth “with no knowledge of how she got there.

In Captain Marvel, Danvers is “tracked down by S.H.I.E.L.D, agent Nick Fury and begins to question whether her dreams and visions might be actual memories of the past. Marvel and Fury join forces, hoping to prevent an invasion of Earth by the dangerous, shapeshifting aliens, the Skrulls."

There’s also a part on the page which focuses on the role Captain Marvel plays in the Kree Starforce, introducing the character as a member of the elite Kree Military unit.

“Marvel's photon powers make her a highly respected member of the team, although she faces a constant struggle to control her dangerous and unpredictable powers."

We can only guess that Carol eventually learns how to control these photon powers when she becomes Captain Marvel.

Meanwhile, Talos also gets the spotlight in his own page, described as the “ruthless leader of a group of Skrull aliens sent to spy on planet Earth.”

“He is merciless and feared even by those under his command. The Skrulls have waged a fierce battle against the alien Kree Empire for centuries, which brings Talos into conflict with Captain Marvel when they meet on Earth,” the page continues.

Breaking down the shapeshifting abilities of the Skrulls, the encyclopedia page also highlights the alien’s waterproof and bulletproof vests that change form when the user shapeshifts.

It’s going to be an interesting fight between the Skrulls and Captain Marvel and we can’t wait to see everything going down.

Captain Marvel premieres March 8, 2019.
