The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was a huge success when it dropped on Netflix back in October. Not only did the streaming company decided to greenlight the supernatural horror series its second batch of episodes a week after it debuted, but it also decided to give fans a little winter treat.
Now with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's first ever winter special, "A Midwinter's tale," set for release tomorrow, the cast of the series teases what's in store for everyone this Christmas season. Not only are we going to see Kiernan Shipka's Sabrina find herself in some supernatural trouble as usual, but we're also going to see an adventure involving a stolen baby and a story with a whole lot of heart and soul in it.
"The holiday special is really wonderful. It's a really emotional episode and it's beautiful for the holidays. Obviously, the show wouldn't be our show without some excitement and some demons... literally," Shipka teased during the interview with CBR. The publication was visiting the set of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina at the time. "It's action-packed and it's fun, but at the same time, there's a lot of heart and there's a lot of soul to it."
With the rest of the cast like Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, and Ross Lynch describing the Christmas special as a super cute episode with a nostalgic feel to it, we can't help but wonder what kind of dark supernatural fun might be hidden underneath all that layer of holiday fluff. What kind of adventure awaits us in "A Midwinter's Tale"?
It won't take long for us to find out.
