Marvel Studios Expected To Make Phase 4 Announcements At Hall H In SDCC

Marvel fans might have been hoping for major news about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the release of Avengers: Endgame, but Marvel Studios made it clear that announcements wouldn't be made until after Spider-Man: Far From Home. Now, it looks like those announcements might be made at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

According to a report by Deadline, Marvel Studios is returning to the massive Hall H panel at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con this year. Though no other details were mentioned in the article, the set-up just seems to scream major MCU announcements from Marvel Studios. Sure, Disney might be holding its D23 in August, but San Diego Comic-Con is arriving much sooner, and it looks like Marvel's returning in a major way to Hall H.

Marvel has already announced a few films of course. There's the Black Widow prequel – the first ever standalone film for Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff. Marvel is also working on The Eternals, a movie that the studio has yet to confirm. Shang-Chi is also another movie expected to begin production next year. Don't forget Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Outside these slate of films, Marvel fans are looking forward to what the studio has in store for Phase 4 of the MCU. Falcon (Anthony Mackie) is the new Captain America, Morgan Stark might have a future as the new Iron Man, and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is expected to lead the Avengers as it heads on to a new phase of the franchise.

Let's wait and see what kind of films Marvel has next.

Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
