Marvel Reportedly Developing Hulk vs. Wolverine Movie

There's been a lot of talk about Hulk and She-Hulk the past few weeks. The rumor mill has been churning out reports left and right, some about the She-Hulk series, others about a Hulk standalone movie.

Today, the mill suggests that Marvel might be interested in having a Wolverine vs. Hulk movie.

According to a report by Cosmic Book News, word on the street says that Marvel is thinking of developing a Wolverine vs. Hulk movie. The project is going to introduce the Immortal Hulk into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and then pit him against Logan.

While it seems rather unlikely that we'll ever get to see a Wolverine vs. Hulk movie in Phase 4 or Phase 5 of the MCU, Ruffalo isn't entirely against the idea of having Wolverine and Hulk throw punches in their very own Marvel movie.

In fact, the actor pitched it himself while attending Tokyo Comic-Con in November last year after telling fans that he had been asked by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige whether he had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk.

"'Yeah, I think there is still some stories to tell.' And he said, ‘Why don't you come in and tell me about them and we'll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel Universe,'" the actor told fans during the convention.

"Hulk versus Wolverine! I'd like to see that. Hulk versus Wolverine," Ruffalo quickly added.

As much as we'd love a Wolverine vs Hulk movie, we know that it might take time for Marvel to incorporate the X-Men into the MCU. We'll just have to wait and see whether this idea really ever comes into fruition.
