It looks like Marvel fans have a lot of things to look forward to when Marvel releases Avengers: Endgame on 4kUltra HD Blu-Ray this August.
Not only is Marvel giving the second entry in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie a 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray release, but it looks like the studio is planning to release the entire Iron Man and Thor trilogies on a 4k disc too.
According to a report by ComicBook.com, Jon Favreau's 2008 Iron Man, 2010 Iron Man 2, and then Iron Man 3 from 2013, are all going to be made individually available in two-disc standard editions. Each of these releases will include a movie-only 4k disc plus a Blu-Ray disc with a movie and bonus features option.
A digital HD copy of the Iron Man movies are going to be made available for download and for streaming through Movies Anywhere. Marvel is also planning to pt the movies up ain its line of Best Buy exclusive steelbooks in a similar fashion with the Captain America trilogy.

Marvel is also release the first two Thor films on 4k along with Avengers: Endgame. The trilogy's last entry, Thor: Ragnarok, was already given a Blu-Ray release back in March 2018.

Of course it's fitting that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) is getting his trilogy released on 4k along with Avengers: Endgame. After all, he sacrificed his life to save everyone in the film.
Avengers: Endgame, the Iron Man trilogy, Thor and Thor: Dark World are releasing on 4K Ultra HD on August 13.
