Marvel Releases Avengers: Endgame Synopsis That Teases One Final Stand

Now that Captain Marvel is well on its way to its third week in cinemas, Marvel fans are moving on to the big event of the year – Avengers: Endgame's premiere later this April. Everyone is looking forward to the second installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie knowing that the film will close a chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After the debut of its first full trailer last week, Disney has decided to release the official synopsis for the film, giving fans a bit of a hint at what they can expect from Endgame when it hits cinemas next month.

Reminding fans of the Decimation brought about the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin), the synopsis says that Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and the rest of the Avengers are here to take one final stand to bring back everyone that was lost in Avengers: Infinity War.

Check out the synopsis down here:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

The synopsis doesn't give away too much info about Endgame – Marvel is very careful about the details it releases, keeping spoilers from making its way online.

The new trailer for Endgame, on the other hand, gave fans a lot to talk about. Not only did the footage give fans a look at the team's new costumes, but it also gave us a glimpse at Carol Danvers' (Brie Larson) teaming up with the rest of the Avengers to bring back the lives that were lost during the Snappening.

Avenges: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
