Marvel President Kevin Feige Seemingly Hints at New Avengers Movie

The COVID-19 pandemic might have shut down the production of its highly anticipated projects and delayed the release of its upcoming films, however, it seems like Marvel Studios isn't letting the novel coronavirus limit its plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel is celebrating the one year anniversary of Avengers: Endgame this week, and it looks like Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has dropped a hint about the future of the Avengers film franchise.

Taking to Twitter to celebrate Endgame's anniversary, Marvel fan Scott Gustin decided to share a video of moviegoers reacting to that scene in the film where Captain America (Chris Evans) picks up the hammer of Thor (Chris Hemsworth). In the video, the crowd goes wild seeing Steve worthy of the Mjolnir.

Responding to the video (via The Independent), Feige decided to break his silence on Twitter saying that the post was "a nice reminder of what we were all doing almost exactly 1 year ago. A nice reminder of what we will all be doing together someday again."

While the post might not explicitly say that much about the future of the MCU, fans ought to be reminded that Feige has not tweeted since November 2018. This comment may actually mean something to the franchise, potentially the development of another Avengers movie.

The next phase of Marvel films may have already been announced, but fans are hoping to see Marvel develop a few team-up movies here and there. Perhaps Avengers 5.

What do you think? Are we going to get another Avengers movie? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
