Marvel President Kevin Feige Becomes The Internet’s Confused Boy After Venom Announcement

If DC has the "Sadfleck" meme, Marvel now has the "Confused Feige."

Though Marvel president Kevin Feige previously confirmed that the Venom project would have nothing to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony Producer Amy Pascal backtracked the confirmation saying that the film and Sony's other upcoming superhero projects would actually be part of Marvel's superhero franchise. Speaking in an interview with Film Starts, Amy Pascal made the announcement right next to Feige and fans couldn't help but notice the confused look on the Marvel president's face.

Now the confused looks making its rounds online, with fans marking Feige as the internet's latest Sad Boy. Check out the different posts down here:

It's pretty funny how fast the internet works on its memes – back in 2016 "Sadfleck" also became pretty popular after Batman v Superman turned out to be a divisive installment in the DC Extended Universe. With so many assuming that Venom would keep out of the MCU, it definitely comes as a surprise that the film is tied otherwise.

Though Venom doesn't have any release date just yet, the film has Tom Hardy as its lead star and is set to start production in September. Meanwhile, Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming comes swinging into cinemas on July 7, 2017.
