Mark Hamill Teases Another Star Wars Trailer For The Rise Of Skywalker

Lucasfilm might have declared the first full trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as the final trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars movie, but Mark Hamill seems to be teasing more videos for Episode IX.

Taking to Instagram to offer a teaser for Episode IX before Lucasfilm released the first full trailer for the film, the Star Wars legend decided to question just how "final" the new trailer could be. According to the Hamill, Star Wars fans could probably expect another trailer for The Rise of Skywalker within the next few months.

"Looking forward to this, but 'final' [Star Wars] trailer?" Hamill posted on Instagram, "I have 4 billion+ reasons to think there will be more to come."

It makes sense to disagree with Lucasfilm on the finality of the new trailer. Star Wars fans are bound to get new footage with the slew of TV Spots that the studio has prepared for The Rise of Skywalker's promotional campaign.

The studio definitely won't let the hype go down, not now when the film is getting closer to its release date. While Lucasfilm would likely recycle footage from old trailers for Episode IX, we're bound to get something new every now and then, even if it's just a short clip or two.

There's a lot of anticipation building up over The Rise of Skywalker. Not only is the film going to mark as the final entry in Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy, but it's also set to put an end to the Skywalker saga.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
