Lucasfilm Rumored To Roll Out The Last Jedi Teaser At Cinemacon Today

Fans have long since expected the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer to come out during this year's Star Wars Celebration at Orlando in April. However, rumor has it that the first teaser for the upcoming sequel trilogy installment just might come out today.

According to a report by Express, speculation has it that Disney could be bringing a teaser of The Last Jedi trailer to their presentation at CinemaCon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' Dave Hollis is set to host the presentation session which starts at 7:30pm and ends at 10:00 pm. The bulk of the slot is to be taken up by a Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales screening, however fans at the event indicate that signs point out to the likelihood of a teaser release for The Last Jedi.

Nerd Reactor has also tweeted out images of decorations for The Last Jedi and Thor: Ragnarok at the event, teasing everyone to "Get Ready."

Could Lucasfilm really be foregoing its tradition of sending out footage of its films during the Star Wars Celebration? Or is the studio just planning to send out a teaser of the trailer to amp up the hype?

We'll find out soon enough and update everyone once the news hits.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to release on December 15, 2017.
