Kevin Feige Teases The Future Of Netflix’s Marvel Heroes In The MCU

It's been a while since Netflix announced the cancellation of its different Marvel TV series, however, the debut of Jessica Jones third season on the streaming site has rekindled fans hopes of seeing heroes like Jessica (Krysten Ritter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) appear in the small screen.

In fact, it's even had fans wondering whether these New York heroes could somehow make their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that their time with Netflix is over.

Speaking with BET to help promote Marvel's last movie of the year, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked which of Marvel TV's New York heroes he was most excited to bring to the big screen.

"I don't know," Feige replied, "There were a lot of great characters that were on those Netflix series, and I think there is a period of time…it'll be a while before we could use any of them based on what the contracts were, so I'm not sure."

It's typical of Feige to remain coy about the subject, however, Marvel's head honcho gave an interesting follow-up to his reply.

"And also, even answering that question is a spoiler. But there are some great Marvel characters there."

Could Marvel really have plans to bring heroes like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, or Luke Cage to the MCU?

Of course, it would take a while knowing Netflix's contract holding the characters for two years, but it's definitely going to be worth the wait if Marvel TV's heroes really do make their way to the big screen at the end of everything.

Let's wait and see.

Spider-Man: Far From Home premieres July 2, 2019.
