Kevin Feige Talks About The Hulk’s Continued Evolution In Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4

Thor: Ragnarok's trailers and TV spots have been teasing a lot of changes for Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and for Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Not only has director Taika Waititi infused his brand of humor into Marvel's Asgardian God of Thunder, he's also introduced a smarter Doc Green, showing off a Hulk with better speaking abilities.

Speaking in an interview with Screen Rant, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked whether Marvel fans would get to see Hulk's evolution continue in the studio's future films, and it seems like the studio is thinking of giving Bruce Banner more development in Avengers 3 and 4.

" Anything's possible. It is something when we were talking to Mark about this movie and trying to get him excited and getting him to agree to be in this movie, I did pitch to him a potential, sort of three movie arc for the character starting with this and that is what we ended up doing."

Though Feige is hesitant to reveal how far Hulk evolves in the franchise, he does confirm that fans will get to see the continuation of the character's evolution.

"Now, I won't say where it goes, but it's the continuing evolution of the relationship between Banner and Hulk and you see a side of it here (Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4). There's a great line. He [Banner] says, "it's different this time, usually it feels like we both have a hand on the wheel, but this time he was driving and I was locked in the trunk." Are they ever going to be able to resolve that?"

This is certainly exciting news for Marvel fans. The character's been sidelined for so long, and it's good to hear that Marvel is thinking of further developing Hulk.

Thor: Ragnarok crashes into cinemas November 3, 2017. Avengers: Infinity War on the other hand makes its big debut on May 4, 2018, while Avengers 4 premieres May 3, 2019.
