Jeremy Renner’s Ex-Wife Claims The Avengers: Endgame Star Bit His Daughter

It looks like reports about Jeremy Renner's home life have become even odder as the Avengers: Endgame star continues his legal battle with his ex-wife Sonni Panecho.

Marvel fans were pretty surprised to learn that Renner was being accused of substance abuse and of threatening his life and the life of his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco. The report came out after Pacheco filed legal documents asking the court to change the ruling of joint custody over their child, Ava, to sole custody with monitored visitation from the Marvel actor.

Now, according to the court documents that were filed publicly in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles (via News.com), Pacheco further claims that she spotted a bruise on Ava that the child reportedly said was caused by Renner. According to the report, the child told her mother that "Daddy bit me," at the time.

The document claims that her daughter "later explained that the bite happened when (Renner) was being mean and yelling."

Pacheco included emails exchanged about the incident, however, in the documents, Renner denies responsibility for the bruise, explaining that the mark was caused by their daughter getting "pinched" by the seat belt.

Renner's ex-wife challenged the explanation in the email, writing that "when putting some ointment on her owie, Ava told me you bit here there."

The actor then allegedly responded, "Ha. No. We do a nibble game called Ava burrito. Haha. But not a bite. Tell her she's spicy. And the game ensues. Hah. Nibble games are fake nibbles."

Renner's representative has responded to the claims saying that Pacheco's documents are "categorically not true and another straight-out character assassination made by Ms. Pacheco and her attorney."

We can't really know what happened since we weren't there, but from the looks of things, Renner may have just been playing around with his daughter and accidentally caused a bruise on the child. However, if the reports are true, then maybe Renner really ought to be limited to visitations only.

Despite the controversy, Marvel is still set to bring Renner back to reprise his role as Clint Barton in Disney+'s Hawkeye series.
