HBO’s Watchmen Gives Us Our First Look At The Hooded Justice

HBO's Watchmen series is currently in development and it looks like fans now have their very first look at the show's version of the Hooded Justice.

The first look of the Hooded has just made its way online with a brand new picture of the vigilante plastered all over the side of a bus promoting what seems to be a documentary or series of "American Hero Story Minutement."

Another photo of the hooded justice has also been making the rounds, though this one seems a little bit cartoonish.

For those who aren't familiar with the character, the Hooded Justice was a vigilante was watchmen's first masked adventurer who was active from 1938 to 1955. The Hooded Justice was a charter member of the Minutemen, and though his real identity was never known, he was thought to be Rolf Muller, a circus strongman secretly in love with another vigilante, Captain Metropolis.

While we have yet to see how Damon Lindelof writes the Hooded Justice's story in Wachmen, fans have been told that the series would be a modern-day reimagining of Alaman Moore's graphic novel.

The first time that HBO announced that it was working on a television adaptation of Watchmen, fans couldn't help but bubble in excitement. A critical and commercial success, the limited science fiction comic book series was adapted into a film by Zack Snyder back in 2009, however, while some enjoyed the film, many believed the story would benefit from a longer format like that of a series. Now they're finally getting one from HBO.

Watchmen has yet to receive a release date but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
