Guess Who’s Making His Way Back To Jessica Jones Season 3?

Jessica Jones might have been canceled along with The Punisher, but that doesn't mean that the series won't get to its third season. With a new set of episodes on the way, Jessica Jones showrunner Melissa Rosenberg promises a memorable finale for the series' fans. Not only that, but Rosenberg also teases the return of the show's best villain to date – David Tennant's Kilgrave.

After hearing a fan lamenting over the loss of Kilgrave (the character died at the end of season 1) on Twitter, Rosenberg decided to answer with a very cryptic message, commenting that the villain wasn't dead "quite yet." Could this mean the return of pheromone-based, mind-controlling baddie Kilgrave in season 3 of Jessica Jones?

Thanks to Kilgrave, the series was showered in praise by fans and critics alike for its depiction of abusive relationships and the after effects it has on its victim. Tennant's Kevin Thompson, otherwise known as Kilgrave, was the primary antagonist in Jessica Jones. Disguising himself as Jessica's (Krysten Stewart) lover, the Purple Man kept the series' hero under his control for months on end while he was obsessing over her. After escaping the relationship, Kilgrave hunted Jessica down and made twisted efforts at reconciliation. In the end, Jessica killed the Purple Man, snapping his neck into two.

During the second season, Kilgrave continued to haunt the hero as a hallucination, filling her with doubt and fear. Will Kilgrave appear the same way in season 3 of Jessica Jones? Or will we get some flashbacks with the Purple Man?

Let's wait and see. Jessica Jones season 3 has yet to receive a release date. We'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
