Paramount and Nickelodeon are bringing Dora the Explorer to the big screen, and now it looks like the studios' live-action film featuring everyone's favorite adventurer is finally getting a full-on promotional push. Not only does Dora the Lost City Of Gold have a couple of posters to stir up some excitement among fans, but the official movie account for the film recently revealed that the first trailer for the movie is actually set to drop at this weekend's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
The official Twitter handle for Dora and the Lost City Of Gold announced the upcoming trailer along with a photo of the new poster.
"¡Come on, vámonos! Check out the new poster for Dora and the Lost City of Gold, swinging into theatres this summer! Don't miss the trailer when it debuts on the @Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards this Saturday, 3/23 at 8/7c! #DoraMovie," the posts' caption read.

For those who aren't familiar with the character or the series, Dora the Explorer was a children's show that served as a staple in Nickelodeon from 2000 to 2015. The series follows the various adventures of a young girl named Dora traveling together with her best friend Boots, her talking Backpack, and her talking Map.
Here's the synopsis for the film:
Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora for her most dangerous adventure ever: high school. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots, Diego, a mysterious jungle inhabitant, and a ragtag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.
Produced by Michael Bay, Dora and the Lost City of Gold stars Isabela Moner along with Eva Longoria, Temuera Morrison, Michael Pena, and Benicio del Toro.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold is set to debut on August 2.
